Saginaw Township Community Development - Sign Information
Saginaw Charter Township revised its sign ordinance in 2002. The changes were part of a comprehensive and participatory process which intimately involved local businesses. Signs will be amortized over a period of 15 years, with final amortization occurring in 2012.
All types of signs within the Township are regulated. The Township sign ordinance requires permits be issued for certain types of permanent and temporary signs. There are also certain types of signs which are prohibited. As part of the process, a survey was conducted. The survey is available here.
