Saginaw Township Positions on August Primary/November General Ballot
- Township Supervisor (1 position)
- Township Clerk (1 position)
- Township Treasurer (1 position)
- Township Trustee (4 positions)
- Parks Commission (5 positions) 

Nominating petitions and affidavits to file for any of the above positions can be picked up and filed in the Clerk's Office at Township Hall.

All positions require either a minimum of 50 signatures from registered Township voters on the nominating position or an $100 non-refundable filing fee.

Filing deadline for all positions is April 23, 2024, at 4:00 p.m.

Permanent Absentee List

The Clerk's office maintains a permanent absent voter list.
Voters on this list will automatically receive an application for every election.
If you would like to be place on this list, please call at 989-791-9830 or email clerk@saginawtownship.net


The permanent absent voter list will be transitioning to a permanent ballot list following the 2024 Election Cycle. Voters added to this list will automatically receive a ballot for every election. After 2024, applications will no longer be sent out automatically every election and instead must be requested by voters not on the permanent ballot list.

Regular Office Hours (Mon - Fri):                    8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Friday Before Election (February 23, 2024):       8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday Before Election (February 24, 2024):   8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Monday Before Election (February 26, 2024):  8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Election Day (February 27, 2024):                    7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Saginaw Township Political Sign Regulations:

  • Political signs may only be place with the property owner's permission.
  • Political signs are allowed on occupied (improved) parcels only.  Therefore, no political signs are permitted on vacant or unoccupied lots.
  • Political signs cannot exceed sixteen (16') square feet in size.
  • Only one sign per candidate or issue is allowed per occupied lot except that two (2) signs are allowed on a corner lot.
  • Political signs shall not be placed closer than ten (10') feet from the edge of public roads for safety purposes.
