Used Paint Handling Tips:
Latex Paint: If paint cans are almost empty, take lid off, mix in shredded newspaper, kitty litter or use a waste paint hardener, available at hardware stores. When dry, throw the paint cans and lids in your regular garbage.
Oil-Based Paint: This type of paint is not easy to manage at home. Refer to the MMWA website for future dates and times of HHW collections.
Used Paint Donations:
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization which builds houses for families in need of affordable housing. Usable paint is often needed for these projects, as well as for resale in their discount rehab materials warehouse store, ReStore Saginaw.

- Do not break the tubes
- Stand tubes upright in the trash container in plain view or place next to trash.
