Tax and Water Bill Collection

Pay Bills in Person

Bring your entire bill with you in order to receive a receipt.  We accept cash, check or credit/debit cards.  There will be a 3% fee for credit and debit transactions.

A drop box is located at the main doors of the Township Hall (circular drive facing Shattuck Rd).  Please include water or tax account number and property address.

Taxes only (not water bills) can be paid at 1st State Bank and Chemical Bank (listed below).  You must present and pay your entire bill.  The banks will not look up the amount due or take partial payments, and will only collect during the time when interest is not due.

The bank will not collect during the late interest/penalty period.

Pay by U.S. Mail

Make checks payable to "Saginaw Township Treasurer" and mail to:
P.O. Box 6400
Saginaw, MI 48608-6400.

For Tax Payments: Include the small portion of the tax bill with your payment.  If you would like a receipt mailed to you, please enclose the bill so we can stamp it and mail it back to you.

For Water Payments: Make checks payable to "Saginaw Township Water" and mail to:  
P.O. Box 6400,  
Saginaw, MI 48608-6400. 

Include the small stub.  Your cancelled check is your receipt.  There is a 5% late fee added if the bill is not paid on the due date.

Your water bills can be automatically deducted from your checking or savings account.  Simply fill out a form at the Water Department or Treasurer's Office or click the link below (Automatic Bill Payment Form) to fill out and then return the form to the Water Department or Treasurer's Office.

If you use online banking for your water or tax payments, please start the process at least 10 days before the due date to ensure on-time payment.
