Saginaw Township Waste Management Program - Recyclables
Each single family and duplex dwelling was provided an initial recycling bin when our recycling program began in February of 1992. When moving, this bin should remain at this particular address. Additional bins may be purchased from the Township Offices for $7.00 each. It is recommended that residents put their address on their bin with a permanent marker in case of heavy winds on your pick up day. Recyclables are picked up weekly on residents regular trash day.

Box Board Includes:
Place together in brown paper bag or same recycling bin:

Place loose in recycling bin:
Plastic containers labeled #1 or #2 on the bottom of the container such as:

Corrugated Cardboard:
Corrugated cardboard can also be mixed with paper recycling, however, cardboard must be cut into 2 ft. by 3 ft. sections.
Resource Recovery System:
Residents can deliver regular recyclables, plate glass, clean textiles/rags, and up to five gallons of motor oil to Resource Recovery System at 911 Veterans Memorial Parkway 754-7402 in Saginaw. Recyclables are sorted and packaged for shipment to factories, which use the materials to create new products.
