Saginaw Township Waste Management Program - Trash Items
HOUSEHOLD GOODS ARE ALSO CONSIDERED TRASH
Furniture is considered trash and it may be put by the curb (2 items per week). Waste Management will pick-up carpet, however, the carpet must be cut in 4 ft. width, then rolled and it must weigh 50 lbs. or less. Items will be tagged by the refuse hauler for collection at a later date (3 to 7 days) - Leave these tagged items at the curb.
Household goods include all furniture and appliances such as the following:

SPECIAL ITEMS:
Items which the hauler will not pick up may be taken by the homeowner to People's Landfill at 4143 E. Rathbun, Birch Run, MI 48415. For further information regarding the landfill, residents may call 989-777-1145.
