The Fiscal Services department conducts Township accounting functions including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and compilation of budgets and financial statements. Fiscal Services also administers employee benefit programs including pension plans, deferred compensation, health benefit, flex spending accounts, and other employee benefit offerings.
Ledgers and financial statements are maintained for 23 separate Township funds. At fiscal year end, the books are closed and the financial statements are audited by the public accounting firm, The Rehmann Group. The statements are subjected to extensive auditing standards to assure and demonstrate compliance with generally accepted auditing standards.
